Good navigation is the basis of every HMI. In HELIO, this navigation is created automatically from the project structure.

The central idea is that users should not have to worry about menu structure, but can concentrate fully on the content of their application. HELIO therefore generates the navigation itself by default and updates it automatically as soon as pages are added, removed, or moved.

As a project grows in complexity, page groups support a clean structure. They bundle thematically related pages and create additional navigation levels without requiring any manual effort. This keeps the information architecture clear and logical, even for larger HMIs.

Another important aspect is responsiveness: HMI navigation automatically adapts to different panel sizes and aspect ratios. This ensures usability regardless of the hardware used.

As a result, HELIO offers a robust, consistent, and low-maintenance navigation solution that noticeably simplifies HMI engineering while ensuring intuitive user guidance.
