How can HMI interfaces be flexibly adapted to different users, devices, or machine states—without any programming? That's exactly what Display Conditions in HELIO enable. They are a central no-code feature for controlling content in a targeted manner and implementing it consistently according to the principle of user-centered design.

Display Conditions determine what is visible, when, and to whom. This means that certain pages can be released only for defined user roles, widgets can be displayed depending on the screen size, or information can be shown only when data conditions are met.

The video presents three typical use cases: A settings page is visible only to administrators, a gauge is displayed only above a certain device size, and sensitive information such as an IP address appears only when a device is actually connected. These examples show how quickly and intuitively display conditions can be set up directly in the editor.

The bottom line: Display conditions not only make HMIs more flexible, but also clearer and more secure—and enable user interfaces to be quickly adapted to any usage situation without code.
