The new functions of HELIO 24.2

Just in time for the SPS trade fair in Nuremberg, the new HELIO release 24.2 has a lot to offer!

One of the most important new features is the significant increase in performance, which has been achieved by switching the architecture of the backend to Rust. This has enabled us to significantly optimise the resource consumption of the backend and stabilise the PLC connections.

The new HELIO version also comes with a comprehensive package of new features. Our highlights are the integrated recipe management and the message archive. Important industry features that are now available as ready-to-use modules in HELIO and can be utilised with minimal configuration effort. Other important new features include the tab group, which is automatically generated from the stored structure and is particularly useful for smaller device sizes. The dynamic SVGs, which can now be controlled via HELIO logic, are also very helpful. Designers in particular will be delighted with our integrated Figma interface. It now makes it child's play to transfer design specifications directly to development.

Further features: multi-user mode, integrated internationalisation, next level responsiveness, live unit switching, increased password security, enhanced button behaviours, HLS video streaming, sidebar navigation, new overlay modes, floating overlays and configurable column layouts for the parameter page.
