Internationalizing HMIs with HELIO

Machines whose controls can be easily and efficiently provided for different countries have a real competitive advantage, as adapted locales are part of an optimal user experience.

With HELIO, HMIs can be conveniently and structurally adapted for different countries. This starts with the language, for which several translation methods are available: Element by element directly in the IDE or via the import and export of CSV or JSON files in the Translation Manager, which is also a real advantage when working with external translators, for example.

Country-specific parameters that go beyond just the language can also be individually adapted, for example the use of units such as miles or kilometers or the use of Celsius or Fahrenheit. HELIO also provides the correct factors and offsets for converting common units.

In this video, we give you a detailed insight into how internationalization works in HELIO.
